Faculty: Benjamin Eason

Eason150v2Benjamin Eason serves as Principal and Chief Information Security Officer of The Carlyle Group. Prior to joining Carlyle in November 2012, Mr. Eason was the Security Engineering Branch Chief for the Administrative Office of the US Courts. In this role, Benjamin created new programs for software assurance and enterprise security architecture that positioned the third branch to complete the strategic investments, including private cloud and service-oriented architecture, it needed to survive budget sequestration and advance judiciary security to a new maturity level. Previous to the federal government, Mr. Eason served as Director of IT Security Operations for CEB. Benjamin has previously managed his own businesses and worked for other companies including Protiviti and Axonn Wireless (now GlobalStar). Mr. Eason holds a B.S. in Management from the University of New Orleans.
